About the product

"Nawa" means voice in Dari, one of the official languages of Afghanistan. This black tote bag, made from organic cotton and designed in Barcelona, was born as a way to amplify the silenced voices of thousands of Afghan women.

The design features lilac tulips: the national flower of Afghanistan and a color symbolizing female resistance. 

The brand name, SolveStitch, is handwritten by a Palestinian refugee during the trip to Egypt, as part of the previous Somoud collection. This stroke connects both collections, uniting peoples and causes.

The cause: access to digital education in Afghanistan

Since the Taliban's return to power in 2021, millions of women and girls have seen their most basic rights disappear: to study, work, or move freely. In this context, many continue to resist bravely, seeking clandestine and creative ways to educate themselves from home.

With this collection, we directly support a group of Afghan women, selected by a local NGO. All of them have internet access and are motivated to learn from home.

What will be done with your purchase?

With 50% of the profit from each bag (6.61€), you help finance a freelance digital marketing course called “She works online,” and tablets for the participating women.

The content is designed and recorded by an Afghan woman, with videos and PDF materials in their language. Each participant receives a tablet with the course preloaded, and for one month, the group receives follow-up, mentoring, and continuous support.

Transparency

The entire process is carried out with direct monitoring, and the tablets are purchased locally to reduce costs and support the internal economy. The impact is carefully documented and, when possible, content generated by the participating women themselves will be shared.
